Blade and Edge is proud to be teaming up with the children of the Special Olympics for a fun event!

Blade and Edge skaters and the Girl Scouts of Nebraska will be there to participate in the fun event along side the Special Olympians giving all children an opportunity to have fun together without any differences!

We will be offering free skating lessons to the Olympians, and the Girl Scouts.  Additionally, there will be exhibitions form our talented skaters.  There will be face painting, balloons, candy, and other fun activities for children of all ages and abilities.  Most of the skaters in the event will have never skated before, so skating coaches will be there to help!

The first 100 Girl Scouts to RSVP to gofigure1@cox.net or 680-2368 will receive complimentary skate rental  any skaters above the 100 mark, or siblings of Girl Scouts will be asked to pay the discounted $3.00 skate rental fee.

When: February 21, 2010

Time: 1:00-3:00pm

Why:  This event will benefit the children.  The children of the Special Olympics will get to live a dream, and participate in an event with other children.  The Girl Scouts and Blade and Edge skaters will get to give back to their community, and will learn from helping the other children!  Any donations, or proceeds will go directly to the Special Olympics!
